Restaurants and Pubs
There are a number of restaurants and coffee shops in Criccieth - including Dylan's, Tir a Môr, Moelwyn, Poachers, Caffi Cwrt, Café No 46.
Beaches
Criccieth beach is a short walking distance away. Black Rock sands at Porthmadog and the beaches at Pwllheli, Llanbedrog and Abersoch can be easily reached by car.
Llanystymdwy
This is where you can find Lloyd George's grave/ memorial and the Lloyd George museum. You will also find adventure activities at Llanystymdwy such as Paintballing and Segway Adventures.
Castles
There are superb castles at Criccieth, Harlech and Caernarfon where you can transport yourself back to medieval times and consider the life back then.
Walks and places of interest
Why not give mount Snowdon a go on foot or take the mountain railway to the summit! Cwm Pennant, north of Criccieth, is considered to be 'the most beautiful Valley in Wales' and well worth a visit on a nice, sunny day. The Llŷn Coastal path is part of the all Wales Coastal path and takes you along some of the most beautifuil coastline in Britain.
Golf Courses
There are some hidden gems in the area. Nefyn, Pwllheli, Porthmadog and Harlech (St David's) are all excellent golf courses, reasonably priced, and represent a fair golfing challenge.
Adventure Activity
The Glasfryn Activityv Park near Pwllheli has Go Karting, Archery, Quad Bikes, Bowling, Fishing WakePark. The Zip wire ride at Penrhyn Quarry opened in March 2013 and back then, it was the longest and fastest zip line in the world. Over a mile long riders fly solo through the skies, 500 ft in the air, experiencing the nearest thrill to flying. The National White Water Centre is based near Bala - the home of white water rafting and kayaking. Great fun!
